Enviroment

La Rinconada:
Streets sheltered by trees and roses set the common sight of La Rinconada. A colonial-style space that invites leisurely walk and conversation with the people who inhabit it.
Large trees surround this peaceful place away from the hustle and noisy world we live in our daily lives. We recommend a visit to "La Presilla".

Templar Castle of San Martín de Montalbán:
Just 10 kms towards the town of San Martín de Montalbán you can visit an old Templar castle on an impressive escarpment of one hundred meters cut by the river Torcón. It can be visited on Saturdays from 10 to 16 hours but it's closed from 1st of February until the 16th May. More information here.

Santa María de Melque:
Heading in the direction of San Martín de Montalbán, and after a ten minute ride we'll find the Historic Site of Santa María de Melque, a small church built in the middle of the VIII Century, which we can say without a shadow of a doubt, is the best preserved temple of the time within the Iberian Peninsula. A unique site, well worth a leisurely visit with its interpretation center annex. More information here.

Toledo :
Less than an hour's drive from La Rinconada you'll reached the ancient city of Toledo. Centuries of history and legends lie between alleys, squares, monasteries, synagogues, etc. A visit you will not forget just 40 kms from La Rinconada.

Plus you'll benefit from our 2x1 promotion when you book a tour with Entorno Toledo. More information here .

La Puebla de Montalbán:
Fernando de Rojas, author of La Celestina, was born here. La Puebla de Montalbán has one of the most unique monuments of XVI Spanish Century. A pleasant walk through the main square (its Plaza Mayor), visit the Museum of La Celestina and La Torre de San Miguel, the most representative monument of La Puebla, symbol of the town.

Las Barrancas:
A unique and amazing place, just 4 km from La Puebla de Montalbán, on the road to Toledo. Spectacular views of this jewel that nature has left us for 25 million years. An ideal spot for hiking and having lunch, thanks to the barbecues installed along the site.
